Can i go back to High School?

So I'm 17 years old, I live in HoustonN TX. I withdraw ed from school(legally dropped out[I was 16 years old]) last year and paid 180$ to get this Diploma as a recognition that I had some sort of education. I'm wondering if I could go back because I just feel like a complete failure. I fear my future so I'm wanting to go back and finish school like I was supposed to. I'd be falling in 10th grade at 18 years old. I feel so in accomplished. Would the state let me rejoin? Or would my fake diploma get in the way?
