Can i rejoin the army with a re-3 code discharge..it was honerable under medical unable to perform?

i dislocated my knee cap in basic training and i couldn't complete the pft but that has been 5 years ago and ive heard i can rejoin and then i heard i cant rejoin..im wanting to get back in but don't know what steps to take if i can get back in
