Nikon Nikkor 70-210mm f/4-5.6 AF telephoto zoom lens question?

The aperture ring allows you to control the aperture on some older film cameras that have no electronic control over it. What about your camera? Notice that the 32 is in orange. They are trying to tell you something, but what? With these lenses, turning the aperture ring to the highest f number (32 for this lens) allows the lens to work under the electronic control of your camera.
