Should I quit band for AP studio art (Bad for college?)?

You've answered your own question! Take AP Studio Art, because you want to pursue it. This class will ultimately prove if you want to pursue art. I don't think colleges will look down upon quitting band, because it's not as if you dropped from a more serious class like AP Calculus BC.
