How to prepare for football?

Lift, run, protein... As a smaller position player I would run more. Run short shuttles and work on your lateral movement the most, coaches love that. Also, the way most players fall behind is lifting. Lift every dad you don't run, run every day you don't lift. Finally is you think you need it drink protein shakes or get some protein powder. Most kids in my school have protein powder, but I don't think it is necessary.
